Paraiso is a nontraditional travel magazine with 5 special editions that give the reader a
look into the world of Puerto Rico through a Puerto Rican's eyes. The magazines take you on a journey through the island, learning about the real beauty of Puerto Rico, not just to see the popular tourist attractions.
Paraiso is for adventurers who want to see local spots and learn about the culture they are visiting as well as learn a bit of the language used in PR. The 5 editions that make up Paraiso are The Region, Our History, Our Culture, Flora & Fauna, and Cities.

The typefaces used for this magazine are all created by Hispanic & Latin/x foundries, it was important that this publication stayed true to Latin culture and aesthetic down to the typefaces used throughout.

As a nontraditional travel magazine Paraiso is split into 5 different editions, the main edition is La Region where you learn about the region or land of Puerto Rico. The other editions allow the reader to explore Puerto Rico more deeply through its culture, history, flora & fauna, and the cities on the island.
layout
Paraiso's layout blends collage and full-bleed imagery, showcasing Puerto Rico's beauty. Green is consistently used in this edition, while other colors like orange and yellow will organize future editions. In this edition, titled "La Región," green dominates sections like folios, table of contents, and page headers.
